So for the summer time, in addition to going to a special Storytime at the Library for the month of July, I also signed Emily up for the summer book club. We had to checkout and read 16 books of our choosing and each one was recorded by the children's department. At the end of August the Library held a bookclub party that included a puppet show and ice cream social. I'm so proud of Emily and her desire to read. My hope is to continue to nurture that desire along so that it never fades.
